Neuson Forest 103HV / 103HVT (Tilt) and 104HV / 104HVT (Tilt) the professional solution for first and second thinning – High-performance and reliable . With a thinning capability of up to 16 solid cubic metres/hour, a true professional in first and second thinning.

The specifically designed harvester crane with a telescopic extension boom gives the 103HV/T and the 104HV/T an optimal range. Stability due to its low centre of gravity, good ground clearance and the fact that it’s a manoeuvrable, economical harvester for careful thinning are some of its excellent characteristics.

Due to its small dimensions, very good manoeuvrability and mobility are guaranteed in tight spots in wooded areas. With its tight tail swing it’s easy to navigate and work on narrow skid trails.

This 103HVT and 104HVT machine, which is designed for steep terrain has a slope compensator that can be tilted 25° forward and 15° laterally for levelling. By levelling the entire upper carriage the total lifting and pivoting power of the crane can be put to optimal use. Therefore in combination with the powerful travel drive the 103HVT and 104HVT is a true specialist for steep areas– a real “climber”.

Workstation / cabin

The safety cabin, which is fit for use in the forest, is ROPS, FOPS and OPS tested and provides perfect all-round visibility. All panes in the hazard zone made from 20-32mm polycarbonate. The ergonomically designed workstation facilitates fatigue-free working. High performance air conditioning ensures that the working conditions in the cockpit are comfortable.

Easy servicing

The bonnet with a service platform and side cover can be opened comfortably from the cabin. After that all service points are easily accessible.

What’s new by the 104HV/HVT?

This is a complete revision of the previous model 103HV/HVT. The main goal in the development was to implement customer wishes consistently and increase performance. The basic requirement for this machine was to increase engine power. The 4-cylinder John Deere engine in the 104HVT now provides 86KW instead of the 77KW in the previous model. Due to the stricter emission regulations, the model is only available with SCR technology. The machine is equipped as standard with a turn fan for cooling the hydraulic oil. Customer preference was above all to increase the swing torque and the driving speed. The swing torque for the 104HVT was increased by 30% to 19.6 kNm. In second gear, the Neuson now reaches a top speed of 4.93 m/s which corresponds to an increase of almost 10%. The width of 2.50 m, the short tail swing radius and the low center of gravity allow working in the tightest of space and guarantee the usual stability of a Neuson machine.

In terms of comfort and ergonomics, innovations such as the sensitive X-Crane control from Technion including mini-joystick, which can be ordered by the customer as an option, can be mentioned. Various cameras for improved all-round visibility can also ordered by the customer.
